I got back to school after a summer vacation.
My teacher made me responsible for the creation,
Of an essay about what I did on my break.
I travelled so much, I was tired for goodness sake.
The paper that I wrote turned out to be too long.
So I threw that paper out and instead I sang this song.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
Airplanes in the air, ma’am.Cars I’ve had my share, ma’am.
Shoes wore out my pair, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere.
Farthest place I got to go.
Headed south to Mexico.
That’s where I got Rickado.
Got to see a fire show.
Then went north to Chicago.
Where the wind can really blow.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
Airplanes in the air, ma’am.Cars I’ve had my share, ma’am.
Shoes wore out my pair, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere.
Gatlinburg in Tennessee.
Zoo in Missouri, KC.
Reserve Bank I got to see,
Where they shred the old money.
Incredibles 2 movie.
Lego camp was fun for me.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
Airplanes in the air, ma’am.Cars I’ve had my share, ma’am.
Shoes wore out my pair, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere.
Black River a family float.
Forest Park a paddle boat.
Ted Drewes tastes good in my throat.
Magic House my hair did float.
Grant’s Farm where I saw a goat.
Then I sang this song I wrote.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere, ma’am.
Airplanes in the air, ma’am.Cars I’ve had my share, ma’am.
Shoes wore out my pair, ma’am.
I’ve been everywhere.
